BRIGHT WHITES for #COLOURMEMARCH

IT'S LADIES DAY... with less than a week to go for the ladies day at the Cheltenham Races on the 11th of march, outfit planning is in full force..

The races is the perfect opportunity to get all glammed up and especially for this  #ColourMeMarch  competition with etailpr!

I think in the sunlight this spring there is no brighter colour than white and especially when it's a sunny day. This gorgeous white long blazer I stumbled across in primark would you believe it or not..  I recently did a primark shop and found some good accessories and jersey tops that seem to go with everything! The blazer was only £17.. and the quality really isn't bad at all!! I'd definitely recommend it.

ummmm.. it's coming (The topshop item) - The skirt.. how cute is this little A-line skirt. It's such a perfect skirt for spring and I love the blue colour in it that makes the outfit not so boring.

The cute little shoulder bag is a cute little throw on I found in primark, it's leather with adorable velvet panels on the side which I think makes it look more than what it's worth. It was only £8 - I find this to be such a bargain. The black plain ribbed jersey top is no different to the Topshop ones only ALOT  cheaper and they had them in grey and white too! The hat is also a primark accessory.. they seem to be getting everything right this season!!

Please do link below your #ColourMeMarch Outfits and Links.. I'd love to see what you would wear to the cheltenham ladies day. Comment on what you think and get back to me! Head on over to thefestival15.co.uk for more information about the ladies day and #ColourMeMarch - also over at EtailPR's blog theres more info..

HOW MANY SHADES OF GREY?

I Thought this caption was appropriate - after the media frenzy thats been going on about the release of the film 50 shades of grey.. I've heard oh so many reviews of the film.. I think i'm going to have to be the judge of it.. I really do need to go watch it!

AND it's begun, the four days of fashion filled craziness - LONDON FASHION WEEK. I'm so so looking forward to seeing the key pieces and trends for A/W15!

I think there isn't a day where I wish I bought two of this duster/blazer (Miss Selfridge) - I love it so much, it's got to be one of my favourite buys everrrrr. This is a cute little layered dress (all in one) that I stumbled across in H&M.. it looks like a day dress but I think with an overload of accessories it can be cute little night time dress too!

I had a chop off the ends of my hair.. I was so determined to let it grow but I gave in :( I think I just love the feeling of fresh cut hair too much. I also ended up getting some bangs/fringe (whichever you want to call it) - cut in, it's hard to get used to. Like the parting doesn't sit right for it and ends up just hanging in front of my face.

PRETTY IN PASTELS

Well if you haven’t heard of this before – you heard it here first.. (*)

Farfetch is an online company where you can find all your favourite key boutiques all in once place. It’s like your dream shopping centre but through the screen, like you wouldn’t even have to move an inch...

Since I’ve discovered the website it makes it easier for me to find new clothing to fall in love with.  My must haves this season from far fetch there are only a few here.. if I were to put them all on here I don't think it would fit on the blog!

Almost every spring pastels becomes an obsession of mine – and the wide leg pale pink trousers by Cedric Charlier  is a 100% a personal fave that I have come across that are the perfect length, I love high waisted bottoms that sit just a little above the ankle. Paired with a cute crop top - the Stella McCartney  white tee would go perfectly with the trousers for a day look or even a bra-let for a night time look.

I have been looking for a trench coat every where & a few clicks on Farfetch - I have found and fallen in love with this Burberry London one!! I want one for an everyday use and this look is perfect for a throw on type of coat. I think this season an invest in to a trench coat is a necessity..

WHEN DO YOU NOT NEED AN LBD... I've come across this cute little Red Valentino one and Farfetch are up to scratch with their LBD choices, there were a good selection on the site but this little 'princess' embroidered sheer is the cutest little  dress. The Alexander Wang, Lovisa pumps... erm, i'm speechless.. they also come in a textured print as well, they are gorgeous - NEED.

This bag pale blue tote.. I'm not usually one to go for a bright coloured bag.. I usually got for black greys and nudes (a little boring) but I think this is cute to wear with like an all back outfit  adding a splash of colour.

Please go check out Farfetch.com & comment below on what you think of this post..

I always love the feed back

LETS GET LOST

- Khaki Khaki Khaki -

I'm in love with this colour trend at the moment.. i've noticed it always creeps back in to the seasons every now and then, and it seems to be now..

As i'm FINALLY back at uni and into a normal routine I think you can be expecting few more blog posts than normal.. yayyy

I'm also so so so so excited as I'm going to be helping out at Cambridge style week this year! I'm so excited to be apart of the event!! It's such a brilliant way to express fashion idea's of new designers and business opportunities - click on the link ^ to find out more about it & to buy tickets to the event!

I adore this cosy little long sleeved jersey tunic from topshop.. its super comfy and it seems to go with a hell of a lot of other clothing I'm almost tempted to buy a few more colours!
The black chelsea boots are also from topshop .. (I know I'm a topshop addict), they're the perfect every day boots, but the only thing is they're SUEDE D: water + suede = no no, literally a pain to keep clean!

The shirt is probably one of my oldest and favourite shirts that I still wear, I must have bought it about 5 years ago in Zara so I so so doubt they'd still have any unfortunately! The only regret i have is I wish it was a little bigger so it was an oversized fit but it still love it!!

CATCH UP #2

This past month has been a craaaaaazy one - with christmas and new years it been a little hectic. along with uni assignments on top of that it wasn't the easiest holiday period this year!

New year's eve selfie - I took so little pictures that night and didn't even get one of my outfit. I wore a cute little LBD bardot dress, which I loved. probably my fave dress of 2014, despite not being able to breathe the night..

I made dinner - a mexican night with nacho's and fajita's and this is impressive for me as i'm definitely no Jamie Oliver, its safe to say I do struggle a little at uni with cooking dinner, my flat mates have to instruct through each and every part.. (a little embarrassed).

I love family time, please excuse me wearing my sister's cat hat.. what christmas isn't complete with out a trip to winter wonderland - despite the overly priced stalls it was such a cute little day out in London.

Home alone is the ultimate christmas film, there is no Christmas when i haven't watched this film, it always makes me feel at home.

Amongst all the yummy food places in cambridge there is a dunkin donuts right near my uni, the next best thing to a krispy kreme.. god help me this isn't going to be good.

But overall 2014 has been a brill year & excited for what 2015 now has in store!!

I'd love to hear it..

BOUT THAT BASE

The daily routine for the base of my make up -

I've always seemed to struggle with trying to make my darker skin tone all even tone..

I've had acne in the past but acne on my skin aways leaves awful dark patches/scarring on my skin and one tone of foundation never seemed to match! It was horrible.. I'd spend so much on different colours for different parts of my face but I've now found the solution...

The PEACH LUSTRE highlighter prep & prime - (yes it's a highlighter) but I use it as a colour corrector and it works wonders!! (I was recommended it by a MAC assistant and never been so pleased with the results.) Where my dark patches are - mainly my chin and fore head.. I apply this to set before my main foundation and it blends in nicely with my Mac studio fix foundation, making my skin all one even tone!

YES I know mac can be a little pricey for foundation but I'd 100% recommend it! It's made my skin feel and look so much better...

BLACK IS SO COLOURFUL

(With aaaaaaaa lot of family stuff going on I've been such a lousy blogger :( apologiessssss, but I'm back for 2015 and fresh start to the blogging year yay.)

I've become a lover of the colour black.. Never did I think I'd ever see the day.

It's literally become my fave colour over this winter season (as much as I do hate to admit it).

I've fallen in love with yet another black duster style coat/blazer whatever you want to call it. This one's from H&M.. I'm loving they're stuff, this is only £20!! I'm also wearing a turtle neck crop jumper from new look and layered it with an oversized baggy shirt from H&M.

(Someone neeeeeeeeds to ban me from H&M, it's such an unhealthy obsession.)
The best thing about winter is wearing more nice clothes, and just on top & on top of each other.. winter season for clothing is my favourite definitely beats the summer!
